Tony Allen is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Capital Law School where he was a member of the law review and earned a number of academic honors. Mr. Allen graduated in top 10% of his law school class and earned the academic honor of Order of the Curia. He also was awarded five American Jurisprudence awards for excellence in torts (negligence law), contracts, conflicts of law, criminal procedure, and evidence.

Mr. Allen represents clients in personal injury matters ranging from automobile accidents to medical malpractice cases. Mr. Allen has represented a number of injured railroad employees under the Federal Employers Liability Act. He has also been involved in litigation representing those injured by the negligence of the government under both the Ohio Court of Claims Act and the Federal Torts Claims Act.

Prior to law school, Mr. Allen owned and operated an entertainment business. As required by the demands of the entertainment business, Mr. Allen negotiated agreements, reviewed contracts, and mediated disputes. Mr. Allen combines his education and practical experience to offer his clients a unique insight. Mr. Allen is available to provide representation to artists and musicians who are looking for an attorney with this combination of unique insight and practical experience. Mr. Allen is also licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee.

Mr. Allen was with the law firm of Hallowes Allen & Haynes for 15 years before establishing his own law firm. In those years he practiced in a variety of areas including, but not limited to, personal injury, bankruptcy, collection, real property, landlord-tenant, copyright, and immigration.

Prior to joining Hallowes, Allen & Haynes, Mr. Allen represented banks and other commercial institutions, including the Columbus Dispatch, Ford Motor Credit Corporation, Huntington National Bank, and Society Bank in collection litigation matters. This experience in commercial transactions, enforcing judgments and debtor/creditor relations has proved invaluable in his present day representation of those in need of debt counseling and bankruptcy.
